QUATTRO CANTI STUDIO
Collectible Design for ArchitectureMurano Glass · Ceramic Works · Curated Production Across Italian Ateliers
Quattro Canti Studio does not operate as a single workshop.
We curate and coordinate a network of specialized Italian ateliers — including Murano glassmakers and Vietri ceramic masters — to develop material interventions for architectural projects.
Each work is produced within the most appropriate artisanal context, selected according to technique, scale, and architectural intent.
Material Practice
Architectural Interventions (material elements designed as part of spatial composition)
Murano Glass (sculptural works produced in Venice using traditional glassmaking techniques)
Ceramic Works (handcrafted ceramic elements for interior and exterior architectural use)
Bespoke CommissionsEach project is developed in direct dialogue with the architect or designer. We adapt scale, material, and composition to the architectural context, ensuring integration rather than addition.
Process
Dialogue: Initial exchange defining spatial intent, context, and material direction.
Material Development: Research and definition of form, scale, and technique in relation to the project.
Realization: Crafted execution in collaboration with Italian workshops and artisans.
CURATIONAlongside contemporary production, the studio works with selected historical Italian works, curated within architectural and interior contexts. The studio curates also selected historical Italian works, including 18th-century pieces from Venice Rococo', as part of architectural and interior compositions.Rather than objects of display, these works are treated as spatial and cultural instruments within project-specific narratives.
LOCATIONBased in Sicily, within a Mediterranean context shaped by historical architectural stratification.
Operating between Italy and several countries in Europe, Quattro Canti Studio collaborates internationally with architectural and design practices.
